The Bringewood

It is with regret to announce The Bringewood will not open until early 2011. We still do not have a confirmed date, but hope to have very soon. When we announce the date we start taking bookings for The New Bringewood.

BRINGEWOOD UPDATE

I would like to confirm that The Bringewood is not opening In November as stated in the report in the Shropshire Star 02/06/2010. The Shropshire Star have not contacted The Bringewood with reference to the report.
The Bringewood will be reopening but do not have a confirmed opening, as soon as we have a confirmed date a press release will be sent to local papers, radio stations and guests etc will be emailed with the news.

Now looks like we will be opening in late 2010 which is a little later than we initially expected but gives us chance to make a few improvements with the layout and design of the Hotel.

We are now taking bookings for when we re-open, (date to be finalised) for both the hotel and restaurant so don't hesitate to contact us for more information.

Currently the roof has been taken down and the inside cleared so that we are back to the bare shell and ready for the builders to move in.
It is looking very sorry for itself but it's a definite improvement from what it was.

Devastating Fire @ The Bringewood

On the night of Monday 8th February The Bringewood was gutted by fire, totally destroying all the bedrooms and causing severe damage to the lounge, bar, kitchen and restaurant area.

Obviously this is heartbreaking news to everyone involved after all the hard work we have put in since opening but we would like to reassure people that The Bringewood will be built back to what it was, if not better, as quickly as humanly possible.

At this point in time we would like to thank everyone who has sent their condolences and offered their help. If you would like to get in contact with us the details are below.

We will keep our blog and website updated with news, photographs and dates and hope to see you all later on in the year when we re-open.

Sat 13th is our very popular Gourmet evening while we are open specially Sunday evening running our normal Restaurant menu. Or if you would like to treat that special someone to a meal with a view during daylight hours we are also open for Sunday lunch.

After being shut over the Christmas period we opened our doors again on New Years Eve for a Wedding. After a grey miserable day the day before, the weather held off for a lovely, all be it chilly, clear day!
Currently we have around a foot of snow up here which doesn't look to be going anywhere making access questionable. Although we have guests tonight the weather has got the better of us this weekend as its better to be safe than sorry.
However the scenery, as always, is breathtaking.
